This building is set back from the façade at the beginning of the 1e Helmersstraat by one metre. This dip in the façade is “corrected” by bay windows that extend one metre from the building to meet the façade line of the other buildings on the street. To match the surrounding buildings, this building has a classic style of façade with a plinth, a middle section and an unusually high loft. Business offices are located in the plinth and in the floors above, the apartments. Each floor has 2 interlocking L-shaped apartments. On every storey there is one apartment with a bay window on the street side, and one apartment more than 12 metres wide on the courtyard side. The apartments alternate per floor, and this can be seen in the façade. The apartments on the top floor are 3.5 metres high, which is also evident in the façade, with extra tall windows. For a seamless transition to the surrounding buildings, the edifice is composed of dark brick. The window frames and the rest of the plinth are bronze-coloured powder-coated aluminium.
