Nordhorn Boulevard is a public space in the former textile city of Nordhorn, Germany. Due to the decline of large, industry-based companies in the city, there are several places where shopping centres, parking lots and parks are being developed. Nordhorn Boulevard is a promenade that connects these large-scale terrains with an old, small-scale city centre. The promenade links foot- and bicycle-paths, terraces, boat piers, residential areas and a square. The design was submitted to a competition, in which it won second prize. The second phase of the plan will be carried out by the municipality of Nordhorn.
